"What about my child's rights? If I had of been there with my son, I would have felt like you invaded my space and the rights of my child.. While I am an adult, I understand the point she is making. Ms. Badu is a strong woman and I have followed her music for years. I shouldn't have to explain why a sane woman is taking her clothes off in a public area where me and my child are trying to enjoy our day. As a Christian, I understand that GOD created us naked, but Adam and Eve took that luxury from us and GOD set down the rules for modesty. HE protects the children in this way. When this world is redeemed and Jesus returns, being naked will no longer be an issue, but until then, I have to do as GOD have me do, be modest and holy in HIS site. There is no other statement in this world that could be better made than a woman of the LORD dressed to please the LORD.. It's bad enough that we have to see artists that barely dress for performances. I believe that Ms. Badu beat Beyonce and GAGA hands down. She excercised her freedom of expression, but violated the rights of others who choose the difficult task of being "stuffy" if that is what they call it these days...those of us who don't wish to change GOD's laws of decency. And if that makes me boring and stuffy, so be it."
