Está disponível o primeiro videoclip. Não sei. A ideia parece-me muito boa, se ignorarmos o facto de andar lá o Delfim, mas estes arranjos soam um tudo nada a "já foi feito, datado". Pode ser que seja só por ser o single.

Uma banda que reúne duas das melhores (e mais... hm... voluptuosas?) vozes femininas portuguesas? Com o baixista de Orelha? Até nos esquecemos que têm lá o gajo dos Delfins.

Movimento - Novo projecto de Gomo, Selma Uamusse (Wraygunn), Marta Ren (ex-Sloppy Joe e Bombazines) e Miguel Ângelo (ex-Delfins) (...) produção e direcção musical de Francisco Rebelo (Cool Hipnoise, Cacique 97 e Cais Sodré Funk Connection) e do (...)João Cabrita (...) revisita uma série de clássicos nacionais dos anos 60 e 70, de “E depois do adeus” (Paulo de Carvalho) a “Verão” e “Flor sem tempo” (Fernando Mendes), de “Começar de novo” (Simone de Oliveira) a “O louco” (Conjunto Académico João Paulo) (...) numa abordagem de inspiração Soul clássica, mas carregada de sintomas de modernidade.

O disco sai este mês, e haverá concertos com uma orquestra de 12 elementos, incluindo, como sempre deveria ser, um belo naipe de sopros.

Desilude a mixtape dos Orelha Negra, lançada dia 2 e disponível para download no Facebook da Time Out. Podem ouvir os temas todos no site da Antena 3. O conceito de repetir os temas de um álbum tão bom com malta d'Os Tornados ao Tiago Bettencourt tornava a tarefa complicada. Como pegar num óptimo álbum instrumental, vocalizá-lo e não saber a pouco?

Há mais experiências falhadas que conseguidas (e ouve-se M.I.R.I.A.M. demasiadas vezes). Ficam para ouvir mais vezes as participações daqueles que se sentem em casa: Mind da Gap, Valete, NBC e Nerve.


PS: Foi um dia mau para novas audições. A nova dos Grinderman com o tipo dos National é inaudível, a nova dos Clã está regular e a nova dos Arctic Monkeys não me entusiasmou.

Yann Tiersen - Dust Lane

Novo álbum.

«Dust Lane is the sixth studio album by Yann Tiersen. Two years in the making, it was largely recorded on Tiersen's current home of Ouessant, a small island off the coast of West Britanny, with further parts recorded on an island in the south Philippines and last touches and final mix at The Chairworks Studio in Castelford with producer Ken Thomas (Sigur Rós, M83, Dave Gahan).

Dust Lane is, inescapably, an album preoccupied with mortality. During its recording, Tiersen lost his mother and a close friend, and the music within embodies what it is to be bereaved. It is also an album about life not as something lost, but something to be lived. "Not a sad thing, but a colourful thing - an experience sometimes painful, but also joyful," says Tiersen.»

Provavelmente a única superbanda (está-se aqui a criar uma expectativa para a afamada dissertação, mas ainda não é desta) que funciona.

A banda que junta gente de Melvins, Slayer, Mr. Bungle, Faith no More ou Secret Chiefs 3 (entre outros side-projects dos diferentes membros) continua activa, após 4 LP's e uns anitos largos de carreira.

Diz a rock-a-rolla que há álbum novo na calha (bem como meia duzinha de projectos do hiperactivo Mike Patton).
